Artificial intelligence is changing not only tasks, processes and competency profiles, but also the way organisations approach innovation. Drawing on a real-world example of building AI capabilities in an industrial setting, the presentation illustrates how assessing the status quo, evaluating potential and developing initial prototypes can lead to concrete AI use cases.

Building on this example, the presentation explores the practical and research-based insights that can be derived for roles, competencies and the effective implementation of AI.
